Playing through COVID-19 while Playing it SAFE
Adobe Creek Golf Course remains open for golf, but with a number of provisions to protect the safety of our customers, employees, and most importantly our community.
We believe golf can be played at a safe social distance outdoors and that it affords social, spiritual, and mental health benefits that are vital to the wellbeing of golfers and/or hackers alike. As we are committed to safety, we have a plan in place that would allow players play golf with as little contact as possible while adhering to all guidelines set forth by the CDC and Department of Health
How THE EXPERIENCE is changed
No Walk-Ins: Reservations Only
To provide proper spacing and pace on the golf course, we are requiring an advanced tee time for all golfers. Additionally, we need contact information for all players - name, email, phone.
No Cash - Prepay or Credit Card Only
We are encouraging all golfers to pay for their round of golf prior to arriving. You can pay at the time of reserving your tee time over the phone. You can also call before arriving and pay over the phone. This helps us to keep unnecessary contact to a minimum. Credit card machines will be set so staff can be at least 6 feet away and allow customers to swipe without hand-off.
Touch Free Check-in
If you'd prefer to bypass check-in altogether, we're working to provide self-service check-in. This will provide you added peace of mind and the convenience of going directly to the tee upon arrival at our facility.
The Clubhouse is Limited
Our clubhouse is open with limited seating. We can seat tables of four both indoors and outdoors. We have created multiple seating areas for after-round socializing with proper distancing.
How THE GAME & COURSE is changed
Don't Touch the Flag Stick
We cannot disinfect the flag sticks often enough and since they are a central gathering point we must keep them in. The cup will either be raised or blocked.
Walking Encouraged
Cart availability may be limited due to single rider regulations. We encourage walking and our course is very walker friendly. We're allowing single cart riders or two people in the same household. You may also use a cart as a caddy and walk along. A riding cart cannot be guaranteed if our capacity is met.
All Touch Points are Removed
Bunker rakes, water stations, sand bottles, ball washers have all been removed from the course to eliminate touch points. Please bring your own towel to clean club faces or golf balls. Use your foot to smooth bunkers for the next player.
On Course Bathrooms are Closed
The on-course bathrooms are temporarily closed as well as water stations on the course. Please come prepared with your own water bottle and use the bathroom in advance.
How YOU HELP keep it SAFE
Don't Play if You're Sick
If you're experiencing cold or flu symptoms, have a fever, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please stay home and protect your playing partners.
Check-in when Prompted
We'll welcome you in to check-in or pay about 5 minutes in advance of your tee time. Hang out, relax and space out until we ask you to check-in.
Maintain Space with Your Group
High fives and handshakes are normally encouraged, but for now, please keep your space from playing partners. Stay at least 6 feet away at tee boxes and greens.
Info from ALL Players
We're requesting each person in the group to provide contact information. Please provide a name and phone number for each player in the group so we can contact you of any health concerns.
How WE are keeping you SAFE
Minimum Basic Operations
We're limiting staff contact by maintaining only minimum basic operations. Staff are required to stay home if they are ill or in contact with someone who is ill. Additionally, we're avoiding close contact as much as possible.
Extra Enforcement of Hygene
Staff are upping their hand washing and frequently disinfecting common touch points.
